TG SIMPLE GLASS

TG Simple Glass is a basic glass shader, released mainly as an example shader for those interested in writing their own. The full TG Glass shader has its code protected, due to some of the unique processing it contains, whereas TG Simple Glass is open source.

TG TWO IMAGE BLEND

Using the noise processing from TG Noise, this shader blends two images together (rather than blending two colours together). This is rather like using a noise transparency shader with layered materials in trueSpace, but with the convenience of doing it in one layer.

TG VARIMIRROR

This shader alters the reflectance of an object based on the angle between the point of view and the shading point. This allows shallow angles to have a high reflection, and points which almost face the viewer to have a lower reflectance, which is closer to how real-world reflection behaves. Alternatively, you can have stronger reflections for faces which point more directly toward the viewer, if you want!

TURNED METAL

This produces an effect similar to a metal which has been turned on a lathe. It’s a reflectance shader which  works by setting stripes of 2 different settings for shininess.

VIEW ANGLE TRANSPARENCY

An early version of TG Glow, this works in a slightly different way and modifies transparency based on the angle between the point of view and the shading point. Unlike TG Glow, this does not offer much user control, nor does it have a colour section, but has been kept since it does give a different effect.
