Clothing Modelling Shots

TMG CG Art has recently been doing some custom modeling for a client. Further to the work on the gurney and jaws of life, TMG CG Art is now producing items of clothing, again developed from sample photos sent by the client. These are modeling shots rather than fully set up renders, illustrating some of the work done so far.

Technical Details

The clothing is produced using Subdivision Surfaces. All texture mapping is done using the native tS tools, with the textures being created from the sample photographs.

The models are exported in .OBJ format, for import and rendering into 3DS Max by the client. This means that only standard Phong has been used, with no bump maps, when producing these test shots within tS.

Please note I did NOT create the figure - this is merely a “mannequin” provided by the client, and used as a guide when making the clothing. Software used was  trueSpace 5.2, and trueMirror from Primitive Itch.
