Runner Up In “PC Review” magazine VistaPro Contest in 1999

Pre-dating my trueSpace work, this image won me a copy of VistaPro 4 in the PC Review VistaPro contest. I wanted to achieve a look which was very different to that normally seen from landscape generation programs, so chose to do an Artic landscape. The almost monochromatic palette emphasises the cold and bleak feel, and only the subtle aurora (drawn in an art package)  provides any warmth and colour to the scene.

Software used was VistaPro 3 and Picture Publisher LE.
