FRIENDS
Just Another Website: The homepage of
artist Terry Halladay - “just another website” is one thing it is not!
A master of moody and atmospheric images, and a source of inspiration
as to what is possible with 3D graphics.
binkydognose: Mike Harris (alias Binkydognose)
creates fantastic surrealist imagery, and has a particular talent for
unusual, flowing, organic err.... “things” - seriously, there isn’t a
word to describe them, so visit here and let the images speak for themselves! RESOURCES
Moonman’s trueSpace Resources: Just about
THE page for everything trueSpace. If you’re looking for plug-ins, or
tutorials, or shaders, or material libraries - well, just about anything
- then this is the page to visit. It features links to many sites and
downloads, both free and commercial.
Primitive Itch: Great plug-ins. Closed
in mid-2006 but still features free stuff for download. The Logic Foundry Shaders: The Flame shader and a Noise shader. Again, these are an essential and powerful addition to trueSpace. The Flame shader produces a variety of flame effects, all animated, so you can have everything from candles to bonfires. 3D
Commune: A great online community, with galleries, tutorials,
discussion boards, and more! 3D
World: The best 3D graphics magazine there is, and printed
back in the UK too :) Inside
CG: Online magazine, with some great 3D imagery on show. 3D Cafe
: 3D Cafe is one of the longest running and best-known communities on
the web. Pixar:
Just because they are the creators of my favorite animated movies. Toy
Story, Luxo Jr, Finding Nemo, Cars, and the list goes on.
