Honourable Mention In Caligari’s November 1999 Image Contest

Extensions used : Yamaneko Fresnel shader, MBA Cloud Marble shader

Although I had already produced some graphics for websites using trueSpace4, this was my first completed scene. The motherboard was actually created using trueSpace2, and then re-textured and rendered in trueSpace4.

The motherboard is based on an Abit board, and all the details, including the pins and holes in the expansion slots, are modelled - only the “circuitry” on the board itself was done using a texture, which I created myself. The background was done using volumetric lighting.
